According to Presidential decree No. 18 of the 2020-2024 National medium-term Development Plan in 2020, SADAI Industrial Area has officially entered the national priority development project. On February 13, 2020, the Ministry of Agricultural Affairs and Spatial Planning / State Land Administration issued a letter numbered: 59/UM-200.12.PK.02.01/II/2020 that SADAI Industrial Area was officially designated as the national smelting industry center. After the Indonesian Congress examined and approved the proposal for the development of the national smelting industry, the area was officially designated as the Indonesian national blockchain demonstration area. The SADAI Industrial Area covers 8000 hectares of area in total which 670 hectares will be used on building the SADAI blockchain industrial Area.
